• Medication packaging is a process where all of the patient’s medications are packaged by the pharmacy staff. 
• The medications are packaged into individual blister packs on a card; its purpose is to organize a patient’s daily medications. 
• The packaging card allows the patient to see which medications need to be taken on each day of the week.
